Public Health Technician

The Trempealeau County Health Department is seeking to fill the position of Public Health Technician to assist with daily operation of the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) and the Health Department. This includes office operations and caseload management of the WIC Program, obtaining anthropometric data and lab samples, office operations of the Health Department, and providing support to residents of Trempealeau County for all Health Department programs, including interpreting for Spanish speaking residents. The work is performed under the supervision of the Public Health Nutrition Coordinator and the Director/Health Officer.

Truck Driver / Summer Road Maintenance (Limited Term Employment)

The purpose of this limited term position is to assist the Highway Department and various road maintenance crews in driving trucks and operating various heavy equipment used in road repairs and culvert replacement, including, but not limited to lawn mowing, ditch mowing, dump trucks, skid steers, end loaders, backhoes, asphalt paving, chip sealing, crack filling, and flagging for traffic control operations.
