Public Health Educator

The purpose of this position is to promote community health and wellness programs and provide public health and environmental consultation and technical assistance to the public health department and county staff. This individual will collaborate and consult within multidisciplinary and multi-agency teams to achieve desirable outcomes. The Health Educator provides health, safety and environmental health services for residents of Trempealeau County. Duties require a knowledge of epidemiology, communicable disease, food safety, and vector borne diseases. This individual is required to work with a wide diversity of individuals and will need to be able to adapt to changing priorities. Work is performed under the supervision of the Director/Health Officer.

The Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) of Trempealeau County is accepting applications for a Home Meal Driver. The position will be responsible to deliver meals to homebound elderly. The person in this position will fill-in on an as needed basis for any of the following routes: Osseo, Eleva / Strum, Whitehall / Pigeon Falls, Independence, Arcadia, Blair / Ettrick / Galesville and rural Galesville / Trempealeau working Monday through Friday between the hours of 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. up to 10 hours per week. Flexible scheduling available. The work is performed under the supervision of the ADRC/Senior Services Supervisor.
