Bus Driver / Coordinator (Part-Time)

Trempealeau County is recruiting for a part-time (29 hours per week on average) position of Bus Driver / Coordinator in the Human Services Department. The purpose of this position is to operate the bus and/or van to transport persons with disabilities and elderly persons to appointments, employment, shopping and other clientele needs according to the transportation schedule as well as to deliver home delivered meals. This position will assist with training other drivers for the Aging and Disabilities Resource Center (ADRC) programs. The work is performed under the supervision of the ADRC/Senior Services Supervisor. The primary schedule for this position will be Monday through Friday with occasional work on weekends.

Deputy County Clerk

Trempealeau County is seeking a full-time Deputy County Clerk. This recruitment will also be to establish a candidate list for filling future potential administrative vacancies throughout the County. This list may be used for approximately one year or until the next recruitment. Wage varies per position. The purpose of this at-will position is to perform clerical, bookkeeping and customer service tasks related to County Clerk functions, including official recordkeeping, County accounting, election administration tasks, licensing and property tax administration. The work is performed under the supervision of the County Clerk. The normal work schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Evening hours necessary, as needed for elections and County Board of Supervisor’s monthly meeting.
